New Build Scheme of Three Bespoke Contemporary Apartments

• In May 2014, Redtree purchased this former disused builder’s yard in Barnsbury N1.
• Due to the site being located adjacent to a Network Rail train line the construction team at Redtree worked closely with Network Rail’s engineers to design a solution that did not cause any additional surcharge to the train line’s embankment while also maintaining an access zone that ran the length of the site at ground floor level.
• To satisfy Network Rail’s engineers, Redtree adopted an innovative super structure design that allowed half of the building to cantilever over the site to provide the access zone and also to keep the building load away from the embankment.
• All apartments benefited from large outside spaces with the penthouse apartment benefitting from a stunning wraparound terrace which provided 360 ° panoramic views over London.
